Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS)

At ANR Group, we help students land meaningful internships with key Hanford contractors like HMIS and Navarro. Our goal is to make the process simple and supportive—from resume tips to interview prep. As a local company with deep roots in DOE staffing, we’re here to connect students with internships that align with their career goals.

Internship Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the HMIS Summer Intern Program, applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher

  • Be a graduating high school senior enrolled in college for the fall, or a current college student enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours) during the preceding quarters/semesters

  • Complete the online application

Navarro-ATL (Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration)

Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (ATL) form the Navarro-ATL team, responsible for managing Hanford’s 222-S Laboratory. This DOE lab plays a critical role in analyzing highly radioactive samples, supporting waste treatment, and ensuring safe long-term environmental stewardship.

The lab supports major Hanford initiatives, including the Direct-Feed Low-Activity Waste (DFLAW) program, by providing essential data for safe waste vitrification—converting radioactive material into stable glass.

Internship Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a Navarro-ATL internship, applicants must:

  • Be a U.S. Citizen

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher

  • Have Junior or Senior class standing

  • Have completed at least two quarters/semesters of college education

  • Be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters prior to the internship

  • Submit an updated transcript if requested
